With an expected opening in early October, Shayna’s Place at Sylvan | Thirty owner Lou Olerio is now accepting applications for all available positions at

“Anyone who may be interested in joining our team is encouraged to apply. We welcome all who can bring a positive attitude every day to greet our customers with a friendly smile, making them feel at home,” said Olerio.

The concept, which was founded in Rhode Island and inspired by Olerio’s cousin Shayna who has Down Syndrome, was created as a place of employment for people both with and without special needs.
