After establishing its presence with three successful locations in Ohio, women’s outfitter Vernacular will be opening its first out-of-state store at Sylvan | Thirty.
This venture isn’t only a first for Vernacular; the shop’s arrival, expected this fall, also marks Sylvan | Thirty’s first clothing retailer. Located on the soon-to-be rockin’ south side of the development, Vernacular will carry a variety of affordable yet high-quality apparel, accessories, gifts and home goods.
Staying true to its classic east coast style with a west coast vibe, the approximately 1,300-square foot space will have a cozy yet modern feel consisting of clean lines and urban industrial decor. And true to Sylvan | Thirty’s tenant curation, Vernacular brings a family-run, welcoming atmosphere, both staples in the success of the company.
So what exactly brings Vernacular to Texas? After making frequent trips to Dallas Market Center for their existing locations, co-owners and husband and wife Chelsea Cabot and Kris Konieczko became extremely familiar with the West Dallas community, which to them felt like a home away from home.
“Opening a store outside of Ohio has always been on our radar and we’ve grown very fond of Dallas in the last few years,” said Cabot. “The atmosphere at Sylvan | Thirty fits our company’s vision and has made this transition feel natural for us.”
